You operate the menu using a control magnet on the front of the lid. There is no need to open the casing, and there are no mechanical components that could break. A thoroughly elegant solution. You can place the magnet on the device; it stays exactly where you put it.     Manual operation Close the flap by attaching the magnet to the housing or the extension. The flap remains closed until the following morning and then opens again automatically - Without you having to do anything.Or open the flap again on the same day. It will also close automatically that evening. LED display: The device displays status information via an LED in the housing. For example, that the flap must be closed according to the limit switch position (for a limited time). The batteries need changing. There is a condition that requires your attention. The LED displays are shown for a limited time. This saves electricity and prevents the chicken coop from being lit up like a disco at night. Installation Installation is very simple: first fit the slider, pull it into the open position, then fit the VSE so that you can connect it to the slider via the loop (cord rolled up = as supplied!). Then insert the batteries and you’re done. You can also control several sliders with a single VSE using ‘UR’ pulleys (see installation examples). The best way to close this is to fit a piece of wooden slat on the floor in front of the sliding panel. This also provides good protection against martens or foxes. The lower drill holes are on the inside. The upper drill holes are on the outside. This prevents the sash from jamming. Installation note 2: The sliding panel runs approximately 1 cm within each rail. If the rails are to be fitted flush with the opening, the opening must be no more than 31 cm wide (33 – (2 × 1) = 31 cm).
