The VSE all-in-one solution. Controlled by twilight, timer and manually; powered by a solar cell and NiMH rechargeable batteries. Doorkeeper VSE - Solar version > a solar cell is fitted + NiMH rechargeable batteries installed, instead of the standard alkaline batteries. Reliable, safe operation, regardless of the weather or time of year – even when the sun takes a break. The device operates even more independently of its installation location. The devices can be mounted flexibly and offer a top price / performance ratio. You operate the menu via a control magnet on the front of the lid. The housing does not need to be opened and there are no mechanical components that could break. Quite an elegant solution. You can place the magnet on the device; it stays where it is.     Manual operation Close the flap by holding the magnet against the housing or the extension. The flap remains closed until the next morning and then opens again automatically - without you having to do anything.Or open the flap again the same day. It also closes automatically that evening. LED display: The device outputs status information via an LED in the housing. For example that the flap must be closed according to the limit switch position (for a limited time). The batteries need to be changed. A condition is present that requires your attention. The LED displays are output for a limited time. This saves power and prevents disco lighting at night in the chicken coop. Installation Installation is very easy: first mount the slider, pull it into the open position, mount the VSE so that you can connect it to the slider via the loop (rolled-up cord = delivery condition!). Then insert the batteries and that's it. You can also control several sliders with one VSE via deflection pulleys "UR" (see installation examples). This gives the animals a little more space when leaving the poultry house. The number of slides is limited. Assembly note 1: The rails have an H-shaped profile. The lower drill holes are on the inside. The upper drill holes are on the outside. This prevents the sliding panel from jamming when opened. Installing the sliding panel may create a small gap. The best way to close this is to fit a piece of wooden slat on the floor in front of the sliding panel. This also provides good protection against martens or foxes. Installation note 2: The sliding panel runs approximately 1 cm within each rail. Therefore, if the rails are to be fitted flush with the opening, the opening must not exceed 40 cm in width.
