VSE – all-in-one Doorkeeper with batteries and integrated timer, Electronic Doorkeeper

The VSE all-in-one solution. Control via twilight, time and manually.

Automatic summer time adjustment, different switching times at weekends or on Sundays only, twilight delay (closing at dusk after nightfall), operation without mechanical buttons, slider weight up to 3kg, efficient battery operation.

• A light sensor is built into the unit. No separate light sensor is required if the unit is mounted on the outside of the barn.
• If the Doorkeeper is to be fitted inside the stable, please order a sensor extension – the external light sensor (ASb) – in the appropriate length.
• The sensor’s sensitivity can be easily adjusted, allowing it to be tailored to the installation location and the animals’ behaviour.
• Twilight delay (closes 1 to 90 minutes after the device has detected darkness, up to a maximum of 23:45)

Integrated timer with display and menu control

• Weekend function (Saturday and Sunday, and/or Sunday – different settings possible)
• Separate settings possible for mornings and evenings (open until 12:00, close from 12:00 until midnight)
• External operation via magnet – your key to the device

Close AND open manually if required

• A magnet is held against a control panel on the device, which triggers the function (closing or opening).
• Control panel for extendable magnet (ext.SA) = manual control, even when the unit is installed in the barn. If required, please order the ext.SA in the appropriate length at the same time.

Battery operation

• 4x AA alkaline batteries (AA, LR6), available at low prices in any supermarket.
• Battery life approx. 2 years.
• Be independent of mains sockets, for example for mobile chicken coops.
• Low battery indicator (LED)

You operate the menu using a control magnet on the front of the lid. There is no need to open the casing, and there are no mechanical components that could break. A thoroughly elegant solution. You can place the magnet on the device; it stays exactly where you put it.

Manual operation

• Close the flap by attaching the magnet to the housing or the extension. The flap remains closed until the following morning and then opens again automatically - Without you having to do anything.
• Or open the flap again on the same day. It will also close automatically that evening.

LED display:

• The device displays status information via an LED in the housing.

• For example, that the flap must be closed according to the limit switch position (for a limited time).

• The batteries need changing.

• There is a condition that requires your attention.

The LED displays are shown for a limited time. This saves electricity and prevents the chicken coop from being lit up like a disco at night.

Installation
Installation is very simple: first fit the slider, pull it into the open position, then fit the VSE so that you can connect it to the slider via the loop (cord rolled up = as supplied!). Then insert the batteries and you’re done. You can also control several sliders with a single VSE using ‘UR’ pulleys (see installation examples).
