VSB line rewound, wound on the wrong way round
The device won’t close. The cord is unusually tight. It is highly likely that the cord has simply been wound round the wrong way. Take a look at how you can fix this yourself.
VSB - Replacing the cord completely
Pull cords are available in our online shop. The cord should normally last for several years. If the cord breaks frequently, there may be another reason. It may be rubbing against something (e.g. the housing), the slider may not be fitted correctly and/or may be jammed. This puts greater strain on the cord. In such cases, battery consumption is usually extremely high (lasting only a few days). Alternatively, animals may have chewed through the cord and destroyed it.
Replace VSD line
The cord has snapped due to wear and tear or some other reason, or shows signs of wear (cord is no longer smooth but frayed, abrasion on limit switches or circuit board). Here you can see how to completely replace the VSD’s cord.

Replacing the timer in VSF, BZ1 and BZ3
Works best on a table or similar surface when dismantling the unit. Unscrew the cover, unscrew the fixing bolts, and remove the timer. Hold the spacer against the timer and reattach it. Ensure that the 6-pin connector in the timer is correctly plugged back into the 6-pin socket on the unit. Screw the timer back on, but not too tightly. The spacers allow the timer to have a little play. This is correct.
