Description:
Medium-sized, widened sliding gate for securing animal pens such as duck coops (accessory for VSB, VSC, VSD and Doorkeeper VSE).
The slide plate is wider than on the standard mHS. This gives the animals a little more space when leaving the poultry house. The number of slides is limited.
Assembly note 1: The rails have an H-shaped profile. The lower drill holes are on the inside. The upper drill holes are on the outside. This prevents the sliding panel from jamming when opened. Installing the sliding panel may create a small gap. The best way to close this is to fit a piece of wooden slat on the floor in front of the sliding panel. This also provides good protection against martens or foxes.
Installation note 2: The sliding panel runs approximately 1 cm within each rail. Therefore, if the rails are to be fitted flush with the opening, the opening must not exceed 40 cm in width. However, we recommend waiting until you can hold the sliding panel and rails in place so that you can cut the opening to size accordingly.
A marten-proof rail is currently unavailable.
