The ASb outdoor light sensor is an optional accessory for the VSC, Doorkeeper VSD and Doorkeeper VSE electronic doorkeepers. It is required if the doorkeeper is to be placed inside the stable and the twilight function is to be used. The outdoor light sensor is mounted in a protected position outside the barn or in a suitable opening and connected internally to the Doorkeeper via a cable. Where possible, the ASb sensor head should not be exposed directly to the elements but should be mounted in a protected location.

When connecting the external ASb sensor, it is important to ensure the connection is correct. Always connect the white wire to pin 6 and the brown wire to pin 5.
