Internal VSB replacement light sensor for plugging onto 5+6

- The unit no longer closes by darkness ?

- The cord is wound the right way round (!) ?

- However, bridging pins 3+4 with a coin or similar causes the unit to close, removing the bridge causes it to open again?

>> The internal light sensor is most likely defective. Remove the internal sensor with a pair of pliers and plug this new internal sensor onto pins 5+6 in the Doorkeeper.

You need pliers/side cutters to remove the internal sensor. Disconnect the sensor above the circuit board at the two legs. Make sure that wire remnants of this old sensor do not touch each other.

Note: If the unit is still under warranty, this will be voided if you interfere with the unit. Please send the unit to us for repair if the unit is still under warranty.
